Goner Records
Founded by Memphis garage rock legend Eric Friedl of the Oblivians, Goner Records has evolved from a small mail-order operation into one of the South's most influential record shops. The store specializes in punk, garage rock, and underground sounds, with an exceptional selection of both new and used vinyl. Goner's in-house record label has released influential albums by Jay Reatard, Ty Segall, and other garage rock luminaries. The shop is also famous for hosting the annual Gonerfest music festival, which brings underground bands from around the world to Memphis each September, cementing the store's reputation as a cornerstone of the international garage punk community.
